PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES
Next Wednesday, October 12th, will be our first Parent/Teacher Conferences. School will dismiss at 11:30 am (not the usual Wednesday dismissal time of 2:00). Conferences will run from 12:30 to 3:30 and 4:30 to 7:30 pm. Please join us in the opportunity to speak with teachers regarding your student's successes in school so far!
UNITY DAY: OCTOBER 19th
October is Bullying Awareness/Bullying Prevention Month. On Wednesday, October 19th, Staff and Students will be wearing ORANGE to celebrate Unity Day. We will also be creating a "Unity Chain" representing each student's commitment to help prevent bullying at DC.
FAMILY FUN NIGHT
Thursday, October 27th is Family Fun Night at DC. From 6 until 9 PM families are invited to come to the DC gym and spend an evening swimming, watching a movie, or playing on the Inflatable Obstacle Course, Bounce House, and Horse Race Attractions. Concessions will be available for sale by our PTO. The cost is $2.00 per person. Reminder: This is a FAMILY EVENT! Parents are required to accompany their students and remain with them while they participate.
