Enjoy Your Spring Break

Best Wishes to all of our students and families on a restful break.  Enjoy time with friends and family and come back re-charged.  The 4th quarter begins after Spring Break.  We are in the home stretch!

Hopefully the weather will remember that Spring is here - if not, we're going to have it anyway!

SPRING BREAK

There will be NO SCHOOL beginning Friday, March 25th until we return on Monday, April 4th



QUARTER 3 ENDING APRIL 5th

The 3rd quarter will be 99.9% over when we return from Spring Break.  Grades will close April 5th and report cards will be mailed home April 15th.  It's time to make sure all projects, assignments, or missing work is completed and ready to be assessed.

Conferences Part 2 - Thanks Again!

Thanks to our students, parents, and staff for another night of successful conferences last night.  I was again able to meet some families I'd not yet met and our PBIS fundraiser which provided hot dogs and nachos as snacks was successful.  Many Thanks!

Thanks to our Staff, Students, Parents, and Families!

Thanks to all for the efforts of an outstanding round of Parent/Teacher Conferences.  Many, many outstanding meetings were held on the behalf of our kids.  Teaching Staff, Students, and Parents volunteered for our Hot Dog and Nacho Sale to raise funds for our PBIS Initiative.  I had a great opportunity to meet with some of our parents that I have gotten to know as well as parents I had not yet met.  Thanks again to all!

Our next Parent/Teacher Conference opportunity will be on March 10th from 3:30 to 7:30 pm.  We will again be serving Hot Dogs and Nachos!  Bring your appetites!

CONFERENCES NEXT WEDNESDAY

REMEMBER THAT NEXT WEDNESDAY, MARCH 2nd is a PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCE DAY.  RELEASE TIME FOR DC STUDENTS WILL BE 11;30 AM rather than the REGULAR WEDNESDAY EARLY RELEASE TIME of 2:00 PM.



YEARBOOKS

ORDERING INFORMATION FOR YEARBOOKS WAS SENT HOME THIS WEEK IN THE TAKE HOME PACKETS.  A SCHOOL MESSENGER ANNOUNCEMENT WENT OUT AS WELL.  IF YOU ARE STILL IN NEED OF ORDERING INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT THE DC OFFICE AT 482-8400.



DISMISSAL

AS NOTED ON THE POSTED SIGNS, THERE IS NO PARKING IN THE CIRCLE DRIVEWAY AT DC.  ANYONE WHO PICKS UP STUDENTS AFTER SCHOOL HAS NOTICED THAT PLENTY OF PARENTS PARK.  ALSO, LEFT HAND TURNS ON TO KK AT DISMISSAL TIMES ARE PROHIBITED.  AS A RESULT OF IGNORING THESE POSTINGS, THERE HAVE BEEN BACK UPS DURING DISMISSAL THAT EXTEND ALL THE WAY OUT TO KK AND DRIVERS HAVE BEEN COMING THE OPPOSITE WAY ON THE ONE WAY AREA OF THE DRIVE.  THERE ARE SEVERAL SAFETY HAZARDS INVOLVED - THE SAINT FRANCIS PD HAS BEEN RESPONDING TO COMMUNITY GENERATED COMPLAINTS AND CONCERNS. PLEASE ADHERE TO THESE POSTINGS FOR SAFETY'S SAKE AND TO ENSURE THAT YOU NEED NOT RECEIVE A WARNING OR CITATION.
