BATTLE OF THE BOOKS

Last Night 9 of our DC students participated in the Battle of the Books Event hosted here at DC. Battle of the Books is  is designed to promote a love of reading among our students. It encourages students to read a variety of books and remember information about the plots, characters, and settings of the books. Every question asked in a battle is answered by the title and author of the book. It is a fun, academic-based competition that has been very successful in school districts throughout the state in encouraging students to read.

McTeacher Night!

Thanks to all of our DC staff members, students, families, and community members for making our DC McTeacher Night Fundraiser at McDonald's a huge success.  It was AMAZING to see so many of our DC Family Members out last night.  Raised funds go into our PBIS initiative that allows us to bring in guest speakers and assembly programs and reward and recognize our students who exemplify what it means to be a Friend, a Learner, and a Leader at Deer Creek Intermediate School.
Thanks Again!!
